Cranberry Brown Rice Dressing Ingredients: 1 cup Polit Organic Long Grain Brown Rice 3/4 cup dried cranberries 1 tbsp margarine 3/4 cup onion, chopped 3/4 cup celery, chopped 1/2 cup pecans, toasted and chopped 1/4 cup parsley, chopped 3/4 tsp poultry seasoning 1/4 tsp pepper Directions:
Prepare rice according to package directions. (For additional flavor, rice may be prepared in chicken broth instead of water). Place dried cranberries in a bowl and cover with hot water. Set aside. In a large skillet, melt margarine; saute´ onion and celery until tender; fold in remaining ingredients. Drain cranberries. Add to vegetable mixture. Fold in cooked rice. ![]() Thai Fried Rice
Serve with wine or Chinese tea. Ingredients: 1 T Vegetable oil 2 cups cooked Polit Organic Long Grain White Rice 3 T Soy sauce 2 t Red curry paste 1 green onion, chopped 1/2 lb Tofu, diced and fried 1 T Cilantro leaves, chopped Directions:
Heat the oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add the garlic stir-fry for 1 minute. Add the curry paste and stir-fry until it releases its aroma. Add the tofu and cook another 3 minutes. Add the rice, mix and fry for 2 minutes. Add the soy sauce, green onion, cilantro then transfer to a serving dish and garnish Garnish with Fresh Basil Leaves and Roasted Cashews Serves 4 |
